With over 25 years of experience in professional executive assistant positions and a track record of strong performance in high-volume, high pressure environments, Lydia skillfully manages administrative duties and client relations for her colleagues by seamlessly and effortlessly inserting herself into any project to deliver results.
She has implemented system improvements and processes to streamline projects, managed all accounting functions, scheduling and created company-wide work practices.
With a life goal to make a measurable difference in the lives of others, the path she’s chosen for her career speaks to that fact. Lydia also held the roles of event manager in which she successfully navigated all aspects of the events start to finish, from vendor negotiations to post-event surveys.
Lydia wholeheartedly believes that by helping people work well together while utilizing her negotiation, and listening skills, she’ll start to make a difference in the lives of her colleagues and the people she serves.
Vanessa is a passionate and energetic Executive Assistant & Office Manager based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She has supported teams in oil and gas companies such as Cenovus Energy and Avalon Oil & Gas Ltd. As well, Vanessa consults independently to provide assistance to clients outside of the office.
Always zealous about community involvement, Vanessa served on the Executive Board of the Association of Administrative Professionals (AAP) and the Board of Directors for The Centre for Energy Asset Management Studies (CEAMS). In 2017, Vanessa received her Canadian Certified Administrative Professional (CCAP) designation through the AAP and was awarded a grant for the ‘Highest GPA’. In earlier years, Vanessa served on the Executive Board of the Women In Leadership (WIL) Foundation and became the first recipient of the Women in Energy Leadership scholarship. She attended SAIT Polytechnic, where she graduated from the Energy Asset Management (EAM) Diploma program and was named an “Up and Coming Leader”. She is the former President of the Energy Asset Management Student Organization and a Youth Ambassador Alumni of Canada. She holds additional certifications from the University of Calgary, Mount Royal University and SAIT.
Vanessa enjoys adding value to a team by taking a proactive approach to identifying needs in advance to expedite workflow and ensure that company goals and objectives are achieved.
